Apogee IT Services has been recognized for the second consecutive year by Pittsburgh Business Times as one of Pittsburgh’s Fastest Growing Companies! The list recognizes the greater Pittsburgh area’s fastest-growing, privately held companies.
“We are very excited to be recognized again by the Pittsburgh Business Times”, said Nick Merola, Apogee’s VP of Sales and Marketing. “Our team works hard every day to deliver world-class IT to our clients. This honor reflects both the amazing committment of our employees and the support of our loyal client base who puts its trust in Apogee to provide secure, reliable IT services.”
Since Apogee is a privately held company, it does not release financial information, but the company indicates it has more than tripled in size since early 2015. At that time, Apogee had 22 employees in its sole office in Sewickley, just north of Pittsburgh. In April 2015, Apogee acquired CMIT Solutions—Boston, expanding operations into New England. In January 2017, Apogee grew once again with the acquisition of DSM Solutions – Toronto, this time expanding internationally. The 27 year old company now totals 77 staff with more than two-thirds of those at its headquarters in Pittsburgh. Apogee's client base has grown from about 90 in 2014 to almost 400 today.
“Our team is proud to deliver outstanding results to our clients," Merola added. "The growth we have achieved is simply a reflection of the tremendous work Apogee people do every day.”
Apogee’s appearance on the Fastest Growing Companies list is the latest in a series of awards and achievements for Apogee. Most recently, the company was named to the MSPmentor list of the top Managed Service Providers for the fourth year in a row. Apogee was named #122 worldwide on the 2017 list and is again the highest ranked company in Southwestern Pennsylvania.
