International Womens Month

March is Women’s History Month, a month when we take the time to commemorate and celebrate the often-overlooked contributions women have made to United States history. At Apogee IT Services we take pride in our diversity as a team. At our Toronto location we have worked with Path2CS (Path to Success Program), a results-oriented, non-profit organization and registered charity that helps connect job seekers with employment. As a result of working with them, we hired three strong, hardworking, and motivated women.

We had the chance to interview some of our hardworking women at our company to share some of their achievements outside of Apogee ITS. 

Beatriz Soares

Outside of working for Apogee IT Services as a client executive, Beatriz is a mother of three wonderful sons and an award-winning author. Her book, WILL THE REAL YOU PLEASE STAND UP: 33 Ways To Reinvent Yourself, is a guide to living a life full of choices.

“You were born to reinvent yourself, and no one has ever been able to live without changing. Reinventing yourself is allowing yourself to create new experiences, and the perfect time to start is when you believe there is something more”, says Beatriz.

Her teachings and techniques have already helped countless people around the world to reinvent themselves and awaken their inner essence to reclaim their power and recreate their lives from within. Apogee ITS is proud to have Beatriz a part of our team. 

Dori Spade

Apogee IT Services is proud to have Dori Spade, Vice President of Services, a part of our team for 4 years. In addition to Dori’s hard work in providing our customers with the ultimate client experience, she is a proud advisory board member of the USO (United Service Organizations). She is a passionate and driven professional who has served for our country in the US Army. 

"Serving in the military was one of the most important experiences in my life.  It taught me to push the limits of what we think we are capable of.  This is something I have tried to pass on to my family and to my work team.  Serving as an advisory member of the USO allows me to give a little back to those that are pushing themselves beyond the limits each and every day to protect our freedoms.  This is such an honor for me, and I look forward to continuing to do my part as best as possible through the USO, my company, my family, and all the great friendships I am so thankful to have found", says Dori.

Amalia Caetano

Apogee IT Services is thrilled to have Amalia Caetano a part of our team. As a Customer Success Manager, Amalia focuses on the care and feeding of clients on a day-to-day basis as well as strategic basis to ensure they are being delivered the best service possible. As previously mentioned, Apogee ITS has worked with Path2CS, a program helping women enter into the Tech World. We were fortunate enough to have found Amalia through our work with them.

The Career foundation Path2CS program was developed to Women’s for Women’s, the main objective was open door to us enter in the Tech world, we were able to enhance our skills, build confident, and gain ability to present ourselves in the IT world with assurance we were the best candidate for the job. It was a privilege be part of this program, I met incredible Women who teach us how to conquer a world where we were minority. Apogee plays an essential part, and I am honor to have a company who believe in my abilities , and gave me the opportunity to prove my new skills, as a Women in tech", Amaila shares.
