Tell me a little about your position at Apogee?

I am our marketing intern this year. I will be running Apogee's social media pages, writing blogs for the website, running tech trivia, and #ITFactFriday!!!! (Be sure to look on twitter for those)

So far, what is most exciting about being part of #TeamApogee? or What is most rewarding about your job?

The most exciting aspect about being a part of #TeamApogee is that I was so welcomed the first day I came into the company, which really opened me up in terms of wanting to the best intern and coworker possible. I am so excited for what the future will hold for me at Apogee!

What is something people don't know about you?

I think I can sing, but I know I really can't. I just do it anyway because it makes me happy!!

What makes you laugh?

My puppy. He is the cutest dog in the world and makes me laugh all the time with his funny personality. He is a pug!

What are you most proud of?

How far I've come in the past 3 years being at Duquesne University. This school has changed my life for the better and I couldn't be more proud of all of my hard work and accomplishments that got me to where I am today.

Watch anything interesting on Netflix recently?

I watch Gotham.. season 4 just came on Netflix!!! Also, the second season of Making a Murderer is so interesting -- has me on the edge of my seat!

Tell me a little about your position at Apogee?

I am a security analyst, playing a role in Apogee's new cyber security program that soon will be offered to clients.

So far, what is most exciting about being part of #TeamApogee? or What is most rewarding about your job?

Beginning my first IT job and being part of its new team poised to make cybersecurity an important part of its clients' well beings.

What is something people don't know about you?

I love to write.

What makes you laugh?

Joking with friends. Dishing out the jokes and laughing at myself when someone fires back. There's no sense laughing if you can't laugh at yourself.

What are you most proud of?

Leaving the newspaper business after 23 years, returning to school and earning a degree in cybersecurity, something that couldn't be more different than my previous career. It seemed like a pipe dream when I left the Pittsburgh Trib in September 2016, but it's hopefully leading to an unlimited future.

Watch anything interesting on Netflix recently?

Both seasons of Ozark. Jason Bateman was fantastic. It's kind of like watching Breaking Bad minus the humor.

Tell me a little about your position at Apogee?

I guess my official title is "professional service engineer", which doesn't really define what I do. I'll be working under David and Ryan, mainly in the field, but also to help with preparing new equipment to be delivered as well as assisting with other projects on-site.

So far, what is most exciting about being part of #TeamApogee? or What is most rewarding about your job?

Something that I definitely enjoy about this job that I've not had experience with before was traveling. Even if it's not far, it's nice to get out of the office and change up the pace. It's also worth mentioning that I could not feel more valued to the company, as Apogee offers flexibility I've not had before.

What is something people don't know about you?

My interests are all over the place. I've played 3 instruments in the past (clarinet, marching percussion, and violin, which I still sometimes go back to), I'm into sport shooting/hunting, and I have a motorcycle.

What makes you laugh?

Irony or sarcasm can warrant a chuckle out of me.

What are you most proud of?

Uh. Tough one. I would say my work, but since I'm so new here, I don't have much to show for just yet.

Watch anything interesting on Netflix recently?

Not especially. the last new movie I think I saw was the 2nd Sicario, which was pretty cool.
