Apogee's End User Training - At A Glance

Posted on November 18, 2019

IT security is a top priority for most businesses, and for good reason. Cybercriminals instill fear and constantly invent new ways to threaten companies of all sizes. How can you tip the scales in your favor?

Employee education is the last, and arguably the most  important, step in a multi-layer security profile. That’s  why Apogee IT Services offers Internet Security Awareness Training (iSAT) to all client end users at no extra charge

What is it?

Some attacks are intentional, but most vulnerabilities exist due to lack of awareness and education. iSAT is designed to help end users:

  • Understand their role in protecting your organization
  • Prevent, detect, and respond to threats
  • Know common tricks criminals use
  • Stay up-to-date on new tactics

How We Do It

Any client who is interested can encourage their employees to complete the iSAT training, which Apogee provides via our strategic security partner, KnowBe4.

Client end users register online and receive a link to complete the training, which takes 30-40 minutes and can be completed at once, or paused as needed.

Afterward, we periodically send out fake phishing emails to the client, giving the key contact a heads up before doing so. We also provide a report on who opened the email and who clicked on a link – not to reprimand them, but to provide further training.

KnowBe4 continues to send tips and news on security for more education and awareness.
